Sonic X Amy:- Prologue

         Everything had seemed too quiet lately. Not a lot of activity had been going on in Mobius, which left everyone's favourite blue hedgehog incredibly bored. Without any activity going on, he was forced to impatiently wait for something exciting to happen. Something he was not very good at. After about an hour of silently complaining to himself about how bored he was, he decided to relax and try to pass the time.
         Easier said than done for Sonic though. As he was staring up at the clear blue sky, he couldn't stop thinking about how he had stopped Dr. Eggman's schemes altogether and how boring his life would be now that Eggman isn't going to be around anymore. He'd been thinking about this ever since Dr. Eggman was sent to jail.
         After a while, a random though that Sonic never thought he'd think popped into his head. Since all the evil's gone, what of he and Amy?
         This was strange since Sonic never really thought about Amy in such a way. He and Amy were very good friends, although he knew she was in love with him. Despite this, he never really felt the same way about her. She was his friend and nothing more for all this time... But all of a sudden he thought differently. Was he actually starting to get feelings for her as well?
         Of course not. If he were to get feelings for Amy, why would it be now of all times? Especially since he hadn't seen her in a few days. Sonic was really confused. He never thought anything even remotely similar to this before.
         He stood up and slowly made his way back home. When he arrived, he received a phone call from his best friend, Tails.
         "Hey, dude," Sonic said, answering the phone.
         "Hi, Sonic," Tails replied from the other end. "Knuckles has decided to throw a party to celebrate... something... Wanna come?"
         "Who's going?"
         "Just a few close friends. Me, Knuckles, Amy, Silver, Blaze and anyone else if they wanna come..."
         "I guess I could go. When is it?"
         "Two days from now. See ya then?"
         "Yeah, sure. Bye, buddy."
         "Bai!" Tails hung up the phone.
         Sonic threw his phone onto the bed and flopped down on it. He didn't know what was going on inside his head, so he wanted to just lie down and try to comprehend things.
